Going Out Colorado

Description

Going Out is a pet project of mine, a work-in-progress.
It is a Swift app geared towards families with children ages 0-16. It lists hundreds of indoor and outdoor places that are great to visit with kids big and small as well as events happening in the area. Both the places and events are easily discoverable thanks to tags, ratings, filters, and maps.

Design

As a mom of two boys who never want stay in one place for too long, I wanted to compile all the ideas for outings into a searchable list so that when the time comes I dont have to wonder where to go and what to do. Soon the simple list was not enough so I decided to turn it into an iOS app that will always be with me. The project helped me to get back into design and front-end development, allowing me to learn a new programming language along the way.
